NILDS’ Boss Urges Muslims to Pray for Economic Growth During Ramadan

Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman, Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), extends his congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the commencement of Ramadan, marked by the sighting of the moon.
In a statement released on Sunday, Prof. Sulaiman encourages Nigerians to utilize this period to pray for the nation’s prosperity.
“I extend my warmest congratulations to our Muslim Ummah worldwide, especially those in Nigeria as they embark on another blessed month of Ramadan.
“Ramadan presents a unique opportunity for millions globally to deepen their faith through fasting, prayer, Quranic study, reflection, and acts of charity.
“We express gratitude to Allah for allowing us to witness the sacred month of Ramadan in 2024.
“May our worship during this month and beyond be rewarded abundantly,” the Director General remarked.
He encourages Muslims to embrace the teachings of Ramadan by fostering piety (Taqwa) and generously supporting the less privileged through charitable giving.
