In an effort to enhance technical support and capacity building regarding anti-graft matters through ongoing skill development for lawmakers, professionals, and law enforcement agencies in Nigeria, the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) and the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The MOU, signed on Wednesday, March 20th, at the modern permanent site of the Institute, was executed by Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman, the Director General of NILDS, and Dr. I.B Gashinbaki, the Pioneer President and Chairman of the Governing Council.

In his remarks, Prof. Sulaiman emphasized that this collaboration would facilitate the integration of forensic investigation practices into the operations of statutory committees within the National Assembly.
