To bolster technical support and capacity building initiatives, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) and the University of Abuja have forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The collaborative agreement aims to strengthen their partnership and foster mutual growth in these crucial areas.

The agreement was formally signed on Friday, April 26th, by Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman, Director General of NILDS, and Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’Allah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja.

Prof. Sulaiman, in his speech, highlighted the substantial advantages that the University of Abuja stands to gain from its association with NILDS.

Speaking about the partnership, the DG expressed excitement and pledged to work relentlessly towards the shared objectives. “Together, we will explore new avenues and create a symbiosis that will not only benefit both institutions, but ultimately contribute to the growth and development of our nation”, he stated.

He emphasized that NILDS’s esteemed reputation and wide-reaching network will lend invaluable credibility and enhance the quality of the partnership.
